How to host a stress-free holiday

This is the week! I’m happy to share with you the last simple tips to help this year’s Thanksgiving be as stress-free as possible. Review the past three weeks tips, recipes, and more on my profile. Over the past few weeks, I've been your personal guide for planning a thanksgiving!

The Big Day is almost here!

What to do today to have a stress-free Thanksgiving

  • Iron your linens
  • Prepare your cranberry sauce tonight- See my Tipsy Cranberry sauce recipe for the most delicious side dish.
  • Make certain that the turkey is almost completely thawed
  • Prep all your veggies for the big day of baking
  • Assign someone to pick up the flowers, desserts or any dishes you’ve ordered from local shops.
  • Chill the white wine and champagne
  • Check your barware and stemware to make certain they are free of water spots or lipstick stains.
  • Tidy the powder room- put out fresh linens or guest towels, extra TP under the vanity, fresh soaps and use my doily/ cotton wipe method for a fresh waste bin.

Instead of a less-than-aesthetically pleasing plastic liner in your powder room waste bin, place a cotton round on the bottom of the bin scented with a few drops of essential oils like bergamot, lavender or lemongrass.

Place a small-sized paper doily (available at the grocery store HERE on Amazon) on top of the scented cotton round and enjoy the subtle aroma that will keep your powder room smelling fresh.
