Game Day Dips and Snacks
Here's the playbook:
Blue Ribbon Roasted Salsa Verde Mexicana
This recipe won me a Best in Show at The NW Montana State Fair. And it is that good!
Knorr Spinach Dip but with a little heat
Everyone LOVES Knorr Vegetable Spinach Dip. My version offers up a little heat by adding fresh horseradish, tons of yummy herbs and spices. And instead of heavy mayo, I add in fresh Greek yogurt and a bit of sour cream. This recipe also has a baked version for when the weather is cold outside and you want a warm, cozy dip.
The Goat Cheese Dip
When you want to bring a dish, but have zero cooking skills. Mild creamy goat cheese, chopped peppers, herbs and garlic make a spreadable baked dip that everyone will love. It tastes as good as it looks: bright, colorful and packed with a kick of flavor.
Hosting a Super Bowl Party
Tip One | If you are ordering pizza for game day, order a week in advance. And then double-check on the order. Have someone pick up the order, so you don’t have to wait for a delivery that could be running late. Super Bowl Sunday is the second biggest day for pizza orders.
Tip Two | Offer up a batch punch for easy hosting. A great punch to serve that you can make in batches is my Dark Rum Pirate Punch:
Mix 1 cup dark rum, ¼ cup Cointreau, ¼ cup Disaronno, 1 cup each lime and pineapple juice in a pitcher filled with ice. Add ¼ cup of simple syrup if you want a sweeter drink. Stir well, pour into glasses, and garnish with fruit and cinnamon sticks. Cheers!

Dark Rum & Cointreau Pineapple Pirate Punch
Dark rum, Disarono and Cointreau mixed with lime and pineapple juice make a great cocktail punch.

Tip Three | Have an “apps only” party with guest bringing their favorite appetizers. Give us all the pigs in a blanket and nachos!
